League Park was the home of the original Cleveland Indians and the site of their first World Series victory. The park was demolished in 1951, but memories linger on. Local author and sports fan Ken Krsolovic will talk about League Park and its role in the history of baseball in Cleveland at the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Kirtland Public Library on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 7:00pm.
The Book Cellar will be open from 5:45pm to 6:45pm for a special used book sale. The Friends will hold a brief business meeting prior to the presentation.
This program is free and seats are limited. Please pick up a ticket at the Library prior to March 11th.
Kirtland Public Library is located at 9267 Chillicothe Road in Kirtland.
