"Adventure Begins at Your Library!" Summer Reading 2024 runs through July 20th!

Adventure Begins at Your Library! Log your points or books by July 20th!!

Readers of all ages, we will again use the READsquared app to log our reading this summer, beginning May 29, 2024. 

For youth from birth through age 17, each minute of reading equates to one point. Earn an electronic raffle ticket on the app for every 100 points, redeem tickets to try to win one of our magnificent prizes.  Kids also earn 50 points for every youth event that they attend.  Complete Summer Reading 2024 by July 20 by earning 1000 points, and you can then register for our End of Summer Reading Party with Iditarod racer Karen Land and her sled dogs Noggin and Chloe. Kids also get to choose a book to keep forever once they complete Summer Reading.  And every time kids visit the Library, they get to place stickers on our sticker poster (wonder what picture it will make this year?), drop marbles down the marble run for every book they check out, and vote on what color hair Ms. Pam should have at the End of Summer Reading Party!  (Again this year, we will have paper reading logs if that works for your family, but all minutes must be eventually logged onto the READsquared app by July 20 in order to officially complete Summer Reading, earn points, and try to win a prize.)

For adults, earn 200 points for each book that you read or listen to. Earn additional points by playing Book Bingo!  For each row completed on your Bingo card, earn 100 points.  Points can be used to purchase raffle tickets for prize drawings.
