Enter a world of Wobblies wanderers and tycoons for a special evening with Jess Walter, author of the bestselling The Cold Millions. Meet the man whose story transported us to the free speech and labor protests of another era but still speaks to us today.
Lake County Reads is a one book/one county summer program sponsored by the Lake County League of Libraries. Members of the League are Kirtland Public Library, Fairport Harbor Public Library, Madison Public Library, Mentor Public Library, Morley Library, Perry Public Library, Wickliffe Public Library, Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College.
Each Library is hosting special events surrounding the subject of the novel.
