The Kirtland Public Library welcomes monetary donations to the Library; whether memorial gifts, one-time gifts, or estate planning. When you make a donation to the Library you can specify where it goes and for what purpose. Gifts can go to the General Fund or the Legacy Fund:
The General Fund is the fund used to operate the business of the Library from purchasing materials to paying salaries keeping the lights on.
The Legacy Fund is an endowment fund managed by the Library. It embodies a long-term approach to providing benefits for the Kirtland Public Library. The Fund principal is to be held in perpetuity and net interest and dividend income earned on the principal will be available for expenditure under approval of the Library Board of Directors. Income from the Legacy Fund has been used to purchase materials and equipment and furnishing for the Library.
You may specify how you would like the gift used: to purchase books and materials in a particular subject area or to purchase computers or other technology for the Library.
You may send your donation to:
- Kirtland Public Library Attn: Director, 9267 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio 44094
